I cant hold it in, I cant keep it back, tears flow down because i miss you. Please dont be angry with me.


Summer is hard because everyone seems so far away even though it feels like you have all the time in the world. Everyone is doing their own little things with their family and such while their best friend sometimes gets to tag along but is often left all alone. Its frustrating knowing that you cant reach them. They are so close but yet so far away.

School at least brings people together. You can see them each and every day. But not during summer. When summer arives you have to choose who you want to see by their availability. What happens if you neglect one? Like you forgot to get their numer or their address?? How do you explain to them on the first day of school that the reason why you didnt care for the whole summer was cause you forgot a little detail or two before hand? Arent you their friend?

Well... I... I make a bunch of friends. Sure most of them are aquaintances but I treat them all the same in my heart. I miss them just the same. What can I do? Nothing.

Sure I can try and call a friend to find out the number of a friend of theirs who has this friend of a friend and see if they have their number but what if they are in the same predicament as you? Life is just full of complications and frustrations.

On the other hand it also has its pleasures. You dont have to tell the same guys in your class that for the 100th time you wont date them. There is no need to stress out about what you and your friends are going to be able to afford this next weekend because when its summer, its always a weekend and everyone is always broke. There is no need to worry about going to bed early because it doesnt matter what time you wake up since the days are just days and there are no worries while your still a teenager. Sure some of us have summer jobs and some of us have summer school to either catch up or get ahead but overall its just the same. You basically can do whatever you want!!

Well, this year is my last summer of that. My junior year summer vacation. Once I finish this next school year there is no such thing as 'summer vacation'. Alright, at least not till you have a kid who goes to their first year of school and has a break between their next year but hopefully still being a teenager, silly people are smart enough to wait instead of jumping the gun.

But this is MY last summer vacation.

I didnt think it would ever come. Now that its here, I dont want it to be and I definitely dont want it to end. What can I do? Nothing.

Ah, summer and all of its simple frustrations and pleasures. What can I do?
